Wellness Team Sponsored Event

In 2006, Zirkle Fruit Company implemented a Wellness team consisting of employees from all areas of our business.  Their mission would be to promote all aspects of health awareness:  Mind, Body and Spirit.

In May, we host a Wellness Fair bringing in a wide array of community resources who offer our employees health and wellness information to assist them in their daily lives.   We've had yoga classes, nutritionists, podiatrists, chiropractors, family resources--even the Washington State Patrol has been on site to answer questions.

Last year's event was held May 14th and it was a huge success! We had numerous vendors from the Yakima Valley including the Washington State Patrol who brought their infamous "beer goggles".  It was great fun but on the serious side it was a very worthwhile teaching tool to demonstrate the risk and danger of impaired driving.
